The Health Transfer

“The Health Transfer”, otherwise known as “The Transfer of Health,” relates within this scriptural context to Health being transferred from God to man. That is, God provides supernatural healing to restore mankind.

This supernatural healing is a mystery to many practitioners within the medical arena. However, many individuals have experienced and can testify of the miraculous movements of God to restore their health and wellness – with undeniable proof. Believe it or not, this shows God can restore anyone to health, regardless of one’s prior condition.

This is why The Health Transfer is very near and dear to my heart. I passionately believe in the transfer of health from God to mankind – especially, in times like these as World Health Organizations seek hope, remedies, vaccines, and cures to alleviate, and possibly prevent the problems of prolonged pandemics’ effects.

This is not to say, we don’t need our doctors, physicians, and medical practitioners. We need them more than ever. And we appreciate their steadfast devotion and stellar decision to improve and save lives. Remember, God performed the first surgery, by taking the rib from Adam to make Eve. Also, Luke the physician wrote of the miraculous life of Jesus in the Book of Saint Luke, and some of the miracles of the early Church in the Book of Acts.

You should know “The Health Transfer” is a part of a series called, “The Great Transfer” – declaring God’s transfers of health, wealth, and stealth daily in our lives. In this part, we look at The Health Transfer from a biblical perspective for application in our current times.

As the world’s systems advance technologically and medically, we have grown more dependent on clinical breakthroughs in equipment, and pharmaceuticals to sufficiently solve mankind’s biological needs. However, God is the Creator and Maker of mankind, and God knows how to dispatch, direct, deliver, and deposit health and healing just where, and when we need it.

Hence, faith-based communities must deepen the dependency on God’s involvement in our lives through the power of prayer and the wisdom of His Word for our health and well-being.

Just ask yourself: Why is it that the “Transfer of Health” – which is a more powerful biblical truth to the believer – is not as popular as the “Transfer of Wealth” in the faith communities? Have we become more desirous of the wealthy lifestyle of the wicked than of the healthy lifestyle of the humble? God forbid. The Lord has not only forgiven us of our debts, but also of our trespasses, transgressions, iniquities, and sins.

This is why “The Health Transfer” is more important now than ever. The person who believes The Health Transfer from God to mankind is still possible must remain in faith, that God is willing and able to restore lives to good health! It is God’s will for us to be in good health mentally, physically, psychologically, spiritually, emotionally, relationally, socially, morally, and more.

The definitions of the terms, Health and Transfer are stated as follows:

  • Health is defined as the state of being free from illness or injury. Biblically, health is defined as being sound, well, and whole in mind and body.
  • A transfer is defined as moving something or someone from one place to another.

Furthermore, popular examples of transfers are Heat Transfer, Money Transfer, Title Transfer, and Sportsman Transfer.

In regards to The Health Transfer analogy, if life is a precious commodity, then health is a precious luxury. God gave us life, so we can have health. It is not God’s will for us to be sick or dead. God is God of the healthy and the living.

Someone said, “We invest our time pursuing luxuries, while our most precious commodity swirls down the drain. We are all guilty of falling in love with luxury. Luxury isn’t the downfall of us, the pursuit of it at the suffering of our time, families, friends, and health is.”

Before we draw upon biblical references, let’s ponder on a few questions for a minute.

  • What is health to God?
  • Can sickness, illness, and disease disable or terminate God?
  • Does God need healthcare treatment or plan?
  • Does God need a physician or annual checkup?

No! God is Supreme. God is Great. God is Holy. God is Sovereign. God is Good. God is Gracious. God alone will always be God.

These questions might seem funny to the mind, but you get the point. God doesn’t need our health advice. God doesn’t need our healthcare administration. God doesn’t need our healthy lifestyle applications on life, health, strength, power, and well-being in the physical body. We do, but God does not. Therefore, health is for the believer in God, and the body of Christ – and it comes from God.

When God created the world and all the hosts therein, He ensured it was an environment conducive for healthy, holy, humble, and hearty individuals. God created and made mankind in the image and likeness of God – healthy, and alive.

That is, God is the Generator, Originator, and Designer of all creation.

  • God is the Creator of all life forms.
  • God is the Giver of life, health, power, and strength.
  • God is the Provider of life, health, strength, and well-being.
  • God is the Sustainer of a healthy lifestyle.
  • God is the Restorer of eternal life and health, and wholeness.

Here are some powerful scriptures on the life-transforming Transfer of Health. These scriptures have impacted my life, and are keys to providing days of devotion and months of meditation for your life, health, strength, and spiritual well-being.

Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

  • God breathed the breath of life into man’s nostril and he came alive.

Exodus 15:26, And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

Deuteronomy 30:19,  I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

  • God offers for us to choose life or death, blessings or curses.
  • God further prompts us to choose a life of blessings for generations.

Psalm 107:20, He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

  • God sends healing and deliverance within His word.

Isaiah 41:10, Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

  • God promises to strengthen, help and uphold us.

Isaiah 53:5, But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

  • Jesus was beaten, punished, and crucified unto death on our behalf, so we can be healed and live again.

Jeremiah 17:14, Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.

  • Actual health and salvation only come from God.

Jeremiah 30:17, For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

  • The Lord will restore health and healing.

John 10:10, The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

  • Jesus came for us to have abundant life.

Romans 8:11, But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

  • The Spirit of God who raised Jesus from the dead, can likewise cause our bodies to be whole.

Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

  • Jesus Christ is the one who strengthens us.

2 Timothy 1:7, For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

  • God doesn’t want His people to be fearful. Instead, God gives us power, love, and soundness in mind and body.

When God transfers health or virtue to someone, it doesn’t diminish His health status as an all-powerful God. When a person receives the health transfer from God, the person is made well and whole in mind and body. In Mark 5:24-34, and Luke 8:42-48, we read of a woman with a blood issue. However, she was determined to be healed supernaturally by Jesus, so she approached Him, through the crowd. When she got close enough to reach, she just touched the hem of Jesus’ garment, and virtue went from Jesus into her body. Jesus knew healing virtue left His body. The lady knew she received healing. In the midst of a pressing crowd, Jesus and the virtuous woman knew the health transfer was completed.

In closing, let’s pray for the Spirit of God to come into our hearts, and for the presence of life, health, strength, and wisdom to be restored unto us, even now!

Heavenly Father, we thank you for life, health, strength and wisdom. We thank you for fathering us, and caring for us each day. Lord, we pray for Your transfer of health to everyone listening to these scriptures, right now. Lord, we pray for Your transfer of healing to happen for each person in need, right now! Lord, we believe we are healed by You, and made whole by You, declared well by You, today in Jesus’ name.

Father, we also thank you for health organizations, administrations, doctors, nursing, and auxiliary staff. Thank you for holistic, natural, chiropractic, therapeutic, and new wellness services to complement medical practices. Thanks to ambulances, clinics, labs, and urgent care centers. Who sacrifice their time, and care for the well-being and betterment of others in local and foreign regions, on lands or seas. Lord, keep them strong, keep them safe, keep their mind on you, and grant them your peace and true blessedness. Watch over their families, friends, peers, loved ones, and patients in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
