In God’s Presence

God is Supreme and Sovereign. He is the Ever-Existing One, and He is the Omnipresent God. God is the Generator, Originator, and Designer (G.O.D.) of all things, and by Him all things exist and consist.

Psalm 100:2 declares, “Serve the LORD with gladness: Come before his presence with singing.”

Here are a few more scriptures to encourage you. I hope they bless you and strengthen you in God’s presence. We begin in Genesis!

Genesis 3:8, And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.

God longs to have relationships, fellowship, and friendship with his beloved people. When God is seeking for us, we don’t have to hide. He is coming to help us! We can approach God, our Heavenly Father, with sincerity and transparency!

Exodus 33:14, And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

God hasn’t brought you this far to leave you. If God brought you out, then he will carry you in, and you will find peace, restoration, and rest in his presence.

Leviticus 22:3, Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the Lord, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the Lord.

Do all you can, that you know to do, to stay in a relationship, fellowship, and friendship with God. God has so many blessings for you if you abide in his presence.

2 Kings 13:23, And the Lord was gracious unto them, and had compassion on them, and had respect unto them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, neither cast he them from his presence as yet.

The Lord is gracious, compassionate, and respectful to those we keep His covenant. As faithful Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob did, so we should follow their examples and be pleasing to God in His presence.

1 Chronicles 16:27, Glory and honor are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.

Yes, beloved, glory, and honor are in God’s presence. You can find strength, and gladness in the Lord. Give glory, and honor, blessings, and adoration to His holy name.

Job 1:12, And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.

Though evil may be evident, and darkness may be prevalent, the Lord will preserve you through times of trouble. God knows you by name. So be strong and of good courage for the days ahead. Stay in his presence.

Psalm 16:11, Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand, there are pleasures for evermore.

Yes, stay in God’s presence. For in his presence, there is fullness of joy, and at his right hand, pleasures forevermore. Nothing in this world can compare to being in the presence of the Lord, feeling the love of God and the joy of the Lord.

Isaiah 19:1, The burden of Egypt. Behold, the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

Put away your idols, and false gods. There is only one God, who is God Almighty, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, and all the hosts therein. Let the wicked depart from evil and repent, and seek God’s righteousness. He is God, the Supreme God, the Sovereign God. In Him we live, move, and have our being in His presence.

Jeremiah 5:22, Fear ye not me? saith the Lord: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?

Fear the Lord. Show due honor and reverence to his holy name. Humble yourself in His presence.

Ezekiel 38:20, So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

With presence comes purpose. You are here for a purpose to commune with God, to honor his covenant, and to keep his commands.

Jonah 1:3, But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.

Like Adam and Eve did hide themselves from the presence of God in the beginning, here Jonah a prophet of God tried to flee from the presence of God. He paid his fare to sail away, but in the end, he found himself in the presence of God, doing God’s will, fulfilling God’s purpose for his life. O, where can I go, tell me where can I go, seeking a refuge for my soul?

Nahum 1:5, The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

People get ready. The Lord is coming saints, and the world will never be the same. Don’t lose hope, nor cast away your confidence. Trust in the Lord, for in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump, we shall be changed, and we will behold Him and will be with him.

Zephaniah 1:7, Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord God: for the day of the Lord is at hand: for the Lord hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.

Let the peace of God rest, rule and reign in your heart today. The day of the Lord is truly near, evermore than ever before.

Luke 1:19, And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.

Like the angel Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, we as the children of God should host the presence of God, to speak of the goodness of the God, and to show the glad tidings of the Lord. We must have clean hands and pure heart to stand in the holy place, and presence of the Lord.

John 20:30, And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

And Jesus continues to do many signs, wonders, and miracles in our lives. Only Jesus saves, delivers and sets free the captives. No wonder we call Him Lord and Savior. Jesus died and rose from the dead – as He said he would! One day, Jesus is coming back for his people. And if we should die before his return, we know to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord.

Acts 3:19, Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Lord, forgive me of my sins. Cleanse my heart within. Make me whole again in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

1 Corinthians 1:29, That no flesh should glory in his presence.

To God be the glory. To God be the glory. Glory to you name. Glory to you name. We give you all the glory. We give you all the glory. Alleluia. Alleluia. Alleluia. Holy. Holy. Holy. We say, Glory. Glory. Glory.

1 Thessalonians 2:19, For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?

O Lord, may I be found rejoicing at thy coming, in that glorious number, in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, on that day of your return.

2 Thessalonians 1:9, Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

The Lord will rid evil from this world. Wickedness will not go unpunished. Those will abhor the knowledge of God and reject the gospel of Jesus Christ will be cast from his glorious presence into everlasting judgment, and destruction.

Hebrews 9:24, For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

Some may ask, Where is Christ? Show us your God. Where is the promise of the Messiah’s return? Beloved, Jesus was resurrected bodily after the third day, seen of many disciples over 40 days, and ascended into heaven before their eyes, to be in the presence of God for us, as our great High Priest, and Chief Intercessor.

He lives forever to make prayers of intercessions for you. As promised, Jesus has returned to God the Father, in order to send his Holy Spirit to be present with us. So, lift your hands and say, Welcome Holy Spirit, we are in your presence. Just lift your hands and say, Holy Spirit, you are welcome in this place. Yes lift your hands and say, Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on me. Lift your hands and say, Anointing fall afresh on me. O, let the power of your Holy Ghost fall on me. Anointing fall on me….

Jude 1:24-25, Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Revelation 14:9-11, And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worships the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Beloved, I hope you’re encouraged. There is love, joy, peace, strength, hope, blessings, healing, wisdom, forgiveness, justice and so much more …in God’s presence. The grace of God be with you in Jesus name. Amen.
